Meet Dr. Roderick Cooper

Ever since he was a small child, Dr. Roderick Cooper knew he wanted to be a dentist. He is passionate about dentistry and strives to give all of his patients a positive dental experience. Dr. Cooper places great emphasis on being an honest, gentle, and caring dentist who treats the whole patient, not just the teeth and gums.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree in biology from Tuskegee University in Tuskeegee, Alabama, Dr. Cooper earned his dental degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington DC. He then completed his residency at the Rochester General Hospital Affiliation of Eastman Dental Group in New York. After his residency, he proudly served as an LT Dental Officer in the United States Public Health Service Corps.

Outside of the office, Dr. Cooper enjoys spending time with his wife, a Pediatric Neurologist at Emory. His hobbies include attending church, listening to music, and learning to play the acoustic guitar. You can also find him fishing, sailing, or spending time on the beach.
