Bella Dental Services is a full service dental practice providing both general and cosmetic dentistry solutions to address all of your oral health needs. With nearly 50 years of combined experience in the dental field, our dentists have the sophisticated understanding of advanced dental treatments necessary to create restorations that will help you maintain optimal levels of oral health for many years. Our practice is run by Decatur cosmetic dentist Dr. Roderick Cooper, who has been in practice since 2004. Dr. Cooper is extremely passionate about his craft and always strives to provide patients with the high quality care they deserve. Dr. Cooper is joined by Dr. Thomas Harvey, a talented dentist with more than 40 years of experience. Dr. Harvey has been with the practice for many years and has developed a strong relationship with many of our patients.

Small-Town Georgia Community Roots

Dr. Cooper was born and raised in Pearson, Georgia. Growing up in a small Georgia town has given him a strong understanding of the issues that are important to small-town Georgia residents, and he is very happy to be practicing in his home state.

This small-town philosophy has helped Dr. Cooper more effectively address the needs of his Clarkston and Decatur residents. He firmly believes that exceptional care starts with a comfortable experience. You will always be treated as if you are part of our family, and Dr. Cooper strives to provide the type of dental treatment he would want if he was a patient.

Dr. Cooper’s extensive dental training has also provided him with a thorough understanding of the latest and most sophisticated dental practices. A Commitment to Continuing Education

Dr. Cooper understands that a top-notch education is crucial to his ability to provide you with the exceptional dental treatments you deserve. He earned his dental degree at Howard University Dental School and completed a dental residency at Rochester General Hospital, which is part of the prestigious Eastman Kodak Dental School.

However, Dr. Cooper’s education is an ongoing endeavor that involves regular continuing education courses on an annual basis. He completes all continuing education that is required for the state. As a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, he is also required to undergo additional courses above and beyond what is mandated by the state. As a result, Dr. Cooper exceeds all state continuing education requirements every year.

This emphasis on continuing education extends to the entire dental team. Dr. Cooper makes sure that all team members participate in all continuing education courses that he takes. By making continuing education a priority, Dr. Cooper and his team are able to stay on top of the newest and best procedures available in order to continue providing you with the highest quality dental restorations.
